Guru-da-Gaddi Nanded

Nanded, one of the prosperous cities in the state, has appeared on the air map of the country. The tercentennary function of the Guru-da-Gaddi celebration has been organised from October 27 to November 3rd 2008. The city has been fully decorated and all necessary facilities have been granted to the devotees to arrive by incurring crores of ruppes. The roads and governmental buildings have given a facelift. It is also to be done by the residents of the city because the celebration dose not only belong only to the Sikhs but also to the entire community in the state. The private residences should also be decorated and the people should be ready to welcome the devotees. It is expected that the funds allocated for the celebration are being utilized properly. The officers and the representatives of the people should look in to the matter that whether the work done and being done are up to the mark.
The Sachkhand Gurudwara is visited by persons from the Hindu community on large scale as well. They belive in the life and mission of Guru Gobind Singhji and his preachings. The spritual blessing enshrined in the Guru Granth Sahib bears no bonds of caste, community, religion, language and nation. It is equally important to all man kind in the world. The Holy Book should not be kept attached with the persons believe and emabras the Sikhism but should be kept open to all. The selected text from the Guru Granth Sahib should be translated in to the regional languages and should be included in the school curriculum. The task should be shouldered by the state government. If it is done, it will facilitate the students to access the treasure of spiritual knowledge and pave the way to sucessful life.
